Press conference scene On the morning of January 11, a press conference of Anhui's Two Sessions in 2023, i.e. the 1st session of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress and the 1st session of the 13th Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was held at Anhui Provincial Administrative Center. The main schedule and other related arrangements of this year's Provincial Two Sessions were introduced during the press conference. The 1st session of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress will open on January 13 at Anhui Grand Theatre and close on the morning of January 17. The session consists of 12 agendas, including the election of delegates of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), the election of the chairperson, vice chairpersons, secretary-general, and members of the Standing Committee of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress, the election of the governor and vice governor of the People's Government of Anhui Province, the election of the director of Anhui Provincial Supervisory Commission, the election of the president of the Anhui Provincial High People's Court and the Procurator-General of the Anhui Provincial People's Procuratorate, and the approval of the nomination of the chairperson, vice chairpersons, and members of the special committees of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress. The delegates of the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress have been elected by the municipalities as well as the People's Liberation Army and the Armed Police Force in Anhui, etc. The Standing Committee has confirmed the validity of 734 delegates according to the qualification examination report submitted by the delegate qualification examination committee. 
Members of the 13th CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee sign in to the session The 1st session of the 13th CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee will open on the morning of January 12 at the Anhui Grand Theatre and close on the morning of January 16, with an official session of 4 and a half days. Compared with the last Provincial Committee, the 13th CPPCC Provincial Committee has added an "environmental resources sector" and merged "Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China" and "Anhui Provincial Youth Federation" into one sector, "Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and "Anhui Provincial Youth Federation". The total number of 31 sectors remains unchanged. There are 739 members in the new CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee, including 292 CPC members (39.5%), 447 non-CPC members (60.5%), 180 women (24.4%), 42 ethnic minorities (5.7%), 14 members from religious groups (1.9%), 64 members from the non-public sector of the economy (8.7%), 34 members from new social groups (4.6%), 35 members from Hong Kong and Macao (4.6%), and 5 members representing industrial workers (0.7%).
